Founded in 2016, Shoqata Artistike “Eja në Teatër” is an independent cultural organization dedicated to contemporary theatre, interdisciplinary performance, and audience development in Albania. Through collaborations with national theatres, cultural institutions, municipalities, and independent artists, the organization creates artistic projects that combine performance, education, social engagement, and cultural heritage. Its vision is to become a dynamic artistic platform recognized nationally and internationally for promoting theatre and performing arts as tools for education, social dialogue, and cultural transformation. “Eja në Teatër” focuses on empowering emerging artists, engaging new audiences, and developing innovative artistic experiences that connect contemporary creation with collective memory, cultural identity, and community participation. A central focus of the organization is artivism and socially engaged theatre, using the stage as a space to raise awareness and encourage dialogue around urgent social issues, including gender equality, domestic violence, discrimination, and social exclusion.
