The WAVES project and the people behind it.
We started with a simple belief that art is not just a reflection of society, but a tool to rebuild it. In a time where anti-gender narratives and systemic inequality are on the rise, WAVES was born out of a necessity for cultural resistance.
WAVES is a transnational Creative Europe project that brings together creators from Kosova, Albania, France, and Ukraine to empower marginalized voices through participatory feminist art, cross-border collaboration, and sustainable cultural interventions to counter anti-gender narratives and hate speech, strengthen solidarity across Europe, and foster inclusive, resilient communities through co-creation, performances, digital innovation, and shared knowledge outputs.
We provide resources and platforms for artists to reclaim their narratives.
